I am Ruth Webb, I taught across the primary age range for twenty years until I retrained as a counsellor in 2009. I gained an Advanced Diploma in Person Centred counselling and worked in Primary care mental health for three years and now work as a self-employed counsellor. I also trained as a sleep practitioner with Sleep Scotland and have been a sleep practitioner with a disability charity initially working in Staffordshire and latterly in Dudley. I have gained a wealth of experience across the age range and with families in areas of social deprivation with poor motivation to change. The teenage programme has proved successful and I believe that this can be a way of changing the negative sleep patterns that have a massive impact on families ability to cope and achieve. I also have a special interest in looked after children and sit on Staffordshire’s adoption panel.
